Our aim is to raise aspirations and achievements through high quality education and training needed for life and work.

The 6th Form Academy is more than just a place to study. It is a supportive community, which aims to achieve academic excellence while preparing students for higher education, high quality employment and a successful life. To achieve this we offer a broad curriculum with a strong emphasis on personal development and on developing the skills of independent study.

We set high standards, recognise achievement and respect individuals, irrespective of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, status, religion or sexuality. Students who graduate from The 6th Form Academy will be prepared for life.

The Skills and Professions Academy

The Skills and Professions Academy is a centre of training and learning dedicated to developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in a wide range of professional disciplines.

We set high standards and work closely with each individual student, setting personal goals and helping students to achieve them. Every student who attends The Skills and Professions Academy will acquire practical, professional and transferable skills, to prepare them for their careers and for life beyond the workplace.
