The Andover Music Academy

Facilities

Catering for all types of music and technology, the Academy's facilities are second to none. Within the newly refurbished accommodation, there are rehearsal spaces, performance areas and recording studios - and the Academy's grounds are ideal for open-air performances in the summer.

The elegant Recital Room, with its excellent acoustics, is the main performance area in the Academy and throughout the building there are individual and small group practice rooms. In addition, the Music Library and Study Centre houses a fine collection of reference books, scores and recorded music and is an ideal place for private study.

The Academy is equipped with state-of-the-art computers, mixing desks and keyboards as well as a Yamaha C7 Grand Piano, Yamaha C3 Baby Grand Piano, Yamaha U3 upright pianos, a spinet; an extensive range of tuned and untuned percussion, drums kits and all other band equipment; and a variety of woodwind, brass and stringed instruments.
